Lakeside cottages

 

Lonsdale Park offers six luxury lakeside cottages which are all furnished to a high standard. These self cattering holiday cottages have fantastic surroundings and views. The two-bedroomed cottages offer either twin or double bedroom and a second bedroom with a pair of bunk beds, large shower room and living area.

In addition, the three-bedroomed cottages have a spiral stairway leading to a twin-bedded room with its own en-suite washroom/toilet.

Ample parking to the front of each cottage makes loading and unloading as painless as possible. Our cottages are unique each having its own private peg with night lighting just a few yards away on Lonsdale Lake. Every peg is only a short walk away from your accommodation.

 

 

Many cottages are luxuriously appointed with 4 poster beds, and Cottage 3 features a whirl pool spa bath, shown above.

 

     All our cottages have a waterside view from the living area.

 

 

Easy Disabled Access

Our site is already well laid out over a flat landscape, with excellent paths, but we've also made sure that two of the exclusively reserved cottage pegs are easily accessible by wheelchair. Where there are steps down to pegs on other cottages hand rails are fitted for additional safety and convenience.

Subtle design features such as extra wide doors help make our specially thought out cottages wheel chair friendly.

The private peg system makes it easy to to bait up a swim and let the fish come in whilst you take things easy, have a meal or a cup of tea, walk around the lakes, watch TV - you can relax until it's time to get out there and catch some fish, safe in the knowledge that you have your own permanent privately reserved swim.

Of course our site is not a commericial one, and we are careful to ensure that the site is never crowded - as you can see from the small numbers of accomodation, so there are always plenty of other pegs on all the lakes for you to fish, as well as your private swim.

And after a heavy day by the lakeside, you can return to your own cottage, have a shower in your modern bathroom and prepare to do whatever you want as the daylight slips away.
